Individual Therapy

At Cerem Rehab Center, the benefits begin from the moment it is decided to seek the help of a professional counselor or therapist, since the patient not only finds a place and a private moment to talk about their situation in a free and safe way in an environment of respect and neutrality which is already therapeutic, but you can also discover how your situation originates and how it is maintained, discover your options, develop your skills and improve in other areas of your life.

Group therapy

Group therapy is a psychotherapy technique used by our psychologists and addiction counselors. It is characterized by carrying out a session with several patients at the same time, which allows a patient’s story to be heard by other people who are in a similar context or situation. This type of therapy is usually beneficial for individuals with problems relating to society.

Recreational activities

At Cerem Rehab Center, physical health is very important, therefore, we implement recreational activities that promote the patient’s health. Physical activity is essential for maintaining and improving health and preventing disease, for all people and at any age. Physical activity contributes to prolonging life and improving its quality, through physiological, psychological and social benefits, which have been supported by scientific research.

Spiritual therapy

There is increasing evidence that a rich spiritual life has a significant positive impact on psychological and physical health. We understand that spirituality is a fundamental part of our patients’ recovery, which is why we focus on promoting spaces for introspection and human development where they can discover the great potential they have within.

Medical and psychiatric care

We have specialists in the area of medicine and psychiatry who will work together to accompany the patient during their rehabilitation process to give the best possible results, promoting mental and physical health. By analyzing and interpreting mental health, therapeutic strategies will be designed that will allow the development of long-term treatment to prevent relapse.

Follow-up treatment

The goal of our follow-up treatment is to help the patient discharged from the institution to remain sober.

Through a therapeutic process, a sequential record of the patient’s recovery is kept in order to avoid a relapse.

The patient learns to identify the symptoms of relapse that will take him from a stable recovery to a relapse; whether emotional or consumer.

There is rarely just one relapse symptom, usually a series of symptoms build on each other to create a relapse.

At Cerem Rehab Center, our multidisciplinary team will help the patient create a comprehensive and effective action plan to identify and correct relapse symptoms early.

Stabilization

The stabilization process is designed so that the patient achieves a state of mental and emotional relaxation, avoiding unnecessary stressful situations.

Assessment

The assessment process is designed to identify the recurring pattern of situations that caused past relapses and resolve the pain associated with those situations.

Education

The education process aims to ensure that the patient learns and understands about the process and stages of relapse syndrome.

Identification

The identification process aims to teach the patient to identify relapse symptoms before they become dangerous for their recovery.
